The difficulty of achieving the right fit increases when the restoration on a single anterior tooth is particularly extensive. The goal remains to imitate nature in order to integrate our clinical act into the pre-existing context. In this sense, it is a great advantage to be able to imitate the patient‘s colour and not have to reinvent it.
The OMNICHROMA seamlessly matches the patient‘s surrounding tooth colour.
The patient, a young woman, presented for observation with a left maxillary lateral incisor characterised by a fracture at the distal level. The case required both an aesthetic and a functional solution.
After the carious tissue and the old filling were removed, the adhesive treatment was performed.
A thin layer of OMNICHROMA BLOCKER was then placed to restore the palatal wall. The further restoration was completed by using a few layers of OMNICHROMA.
The distal element was isolated with an acetate matrix. Finally, the restoration was finished and polished to the patient‘s complete satisfaction.
