DENTAESTHIQUE 2025: Successful premiere in London

On 24–25 October 2025, TOKUYAMA DENTAL hosted the first-ever DENTAESTHIQUE in London – a focused and high-level event combining expert knowledge with hands-on training in restorative dentistry. Held at Glaziers Hall with views over the Thames, the event welcomed enthusiastic delegates from across the UK and Europe.
Day 1 – Insight and Inspiration
The first day of DENTAESTHIQUE 2025 set the scene with a series of engaging lectures led by some of the most respected names in aesthetic dentistry.
Dr Thomas Taha (UK) opened the programme by exploring how careful planning and patient communication can lead to better outcomes in challenging restorative cases – especially where teeth are severely damaged.
Dr Jurgita Sybaite (UK) followed with a look at how changing beauty standards and social media influence patient expectations. She highlighted the value of natural shape, surface texture, and fine detail when recreating lifelike results.
After lunch, Dr Rhodri Thomas (UK) took the audience on a cinematic journey into the world of digital dentistry, showing how anatomy, light, and material choices come together to create restorations that look natural and last.
The day ended with a double session by Dr Newton Fahl Jr (Brazil), who shared his unique approach to anterior composite artistry. He combined deep clinical knowledge with illustrative examples, offering practical insights into layering, shading, and creating truly lifelike smiles.
Day 2 – Record-breaking Hands-on Masterclass
The second day focused entirely on hands-on training. In a UK record-breaking format, 100 delegates practised advanced anterior layering techniques together with Dr Newton Fahl Jr and 20 tutors - accompanied by individual guidance and direct feedback. The room was filled with focus, energy, and a shared drive to improve.
In the afternoon, Dr Thomas Taha took over with his workshop and demonstrated precise and efficient strategies for Class I and II posterior restorations. With clear procedures, helpful tips and a focus on predictable results, this session also provided real added value for everyday clinical practice.
