After careful consideration, the Japanese company Tokuyama Dental Corporation and its German subsidiary Tokuyama Dental Deutschland GmbH have decided not to participate in the IDS 2021 world fair.
Tokuyama Dental appreciates the efforts made by Koelnmesse and VDDI to ensure a safe event, which made participation appear possible due to the hygiene concept that had been developed. However, the dynamic development of the corona incident in recent days and weeks has shown all too clearly that there can only be a corresponding level of safety once a vaccine is available and has been used across the board. Tokuyama Dental feels a responsibility towards its employees, partners and customers and does not want to risk not having taken the risk of infection seriously enough in view of the current circumstances.
Over the years, IDS has always been the meeting and exchange point for people from all over the world. An event of this kind is currently very difficult to imagine, but it is only in this context that it makes sense to present innovations to a broad audience. Tokuyama Dental would have loved to present the latest products on this stage, but will now look for new ways and possibilities to properly present the expected innovations.
Of course Tokuyama Dental will be present at IDS 2023, which hopefully will be back in its usual setting.
