Webinar on Function and Aesthetics in Class V Restorations

How can Class V lesions be restored in a way that is both long-term successful and highly aesthetic? In this free webinar by the TOKUYAMA DENTAL Academy on Friday, 27 March 2026, from 2:00 to 3:00 pm, Dr. Bence Kövér explains how function, occlusal load and material selection interact in daily restorative practice.
Non-carious cervical lesions require more than a purely restorative approach. Long-term success depends not only on materials and technique, but also on functional factors and occlusal load. The webinar “Class V Restorations: Functional and Aesthetic Insights” addresses these interrelationships and places them in a practical clinical context.
Dr. Bence Kövér will discuss the multifactorial etiology of Class V lesions, present typical clinical patterns and outline a function-oriented diagnostic approach before restoration. Participants will also learn how to select suitable TOKUYAMA DENTAL restorative materials and how to integrate occlusal considerations into everyday clinical practice. A clinical case report will complete the session.
The course content includes:
- Multifactorial etiology of Class V lesions
- The role of occlusion and functional overload
- Typical clinical patterns and high-risk teeth
- Function-oriented diagnostics before restoration
- Selection of appropriate TOKUYAMA DENTAL materials
- A predictable clinical protocol for long-term stable restorations
- Integration of occlusal considerations into daily practice
- Case report
The webinar is available through the Tokuyama Dental Academy. Participation is free of charge and possible online after registration.
