The Future of Composites – Available now as a Flowable!

OMNICHROMA FLOW by TOKUYAMA DENTAL is a low viscosity, light-curing, radiopaque composite that offers infinite colour matching. A single flowable for all shades – from A1 to D4.

For the second time, colours are not created by the addition of pigments, but rather by deliberately induced structural colours combining with the reflected colour of the surrounding tooth. The effect: Uniquely natural and aesthetic. Uniquely smooth and shiny. Uniquely simple and time saving.

OMNICHROMA FLOW fillers are characterised by their controlled structure: Uniform, spherical supra-nano particles (0.26 µm) are used in all three viscosities. In contrast, conventional composites are usually based on irregularly crushed or ground glass particles. This precise control of the filler particles is the basis of Smart Chromatic Technology and the structural colour - i.e. colour from light. OMNICHROMA FLOW thus achieves an exceptional aesthetic adaptability that clearly surpasses conventional composites.

Compressive strength

OMNICHROMA FLOW also proves to be extremely resilient in tests. If paste-like composites are generally considered to be more resilient due to their higher filler content, the flowable OMNICHROMA FLOW with almost 400MPa compressive strength does not have to shy away from comparison with the supposedly stronger composites. OMNICHROMA FLOW thus opens up the entire range of indications to the user without any compromises.

Polymerisation shrinkage

The extent of polymerisation shrinkage is a key quality feature of dental composites. As a rule, paste-like materials exhibit less shrinkage than flowable versions due to their higher filler content. OMNICHROMA shows very low shrinkage values overall - even in the flowable version OMNICHROMA FLOW. Its polymerisation shrinkage is only slightly higher than that of pasty composites and at the same time significantly lower than that of conventional flow composites.
